Mwanzo Mpya Vision Society, led by Chairman Charles Mwangi, is calling on Kenyans to maintain peace and unity as the country prepares for the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Nairobi, the society urged politicians to stop using young people as political goons, warning that the youth are often left to face the consequences of political conflicts. The group also encouraged eligible but unregistered young people to register as voters and use the ballot to express their views instead of resorting to violence. Caleb Amisi questioning a Sh1.8 billion bill being imposed on public institutions. Amisi says institutions are being asked to pay approximately Sh4.7 million each for domain and email security services coordinated by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), raising questions over the cost, procurement process and value for money.
