PONTY PRIDD HOLDINGS LAUNCHES "THE SHE DELIVERS INITIATIVE"



The Ponty Pridd Holdings has today launched a women's initiative dubbed "She delivers" in its offices in Nairobi. Speaking during the launch, the PS for Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Action Veronica Nduva commented the company's leadership for launching the program, saying that it will contribute in empowing women in society.

The PS said that the initiative is of great importance for the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action as it will help in improving the role women play in society and as well improve the transport and logistics sector.
"She Delivers is a subject that holds great significance for my State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action as it aims at improving the role of women and girls in society, and in this case the transport and logistics sector in Kenya." The PS said.

PS Nduva further said that the launch aligns with the government's aim of promoting the economic empowerment of women as outlined in the Kenya Kwanza Government Women's Charter. In addition, the PS said that the launch as well aligns with the 9-point priorities of the government towards women, first of which she said is Women Economic Empowerment.
