CS NAMWAMBA GRACES THE GRADUATION OF MULTI CHOICE GROUP TALENT FACTORY 2023 COHORT

The Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts Hon. Ababu Namwamba have on Thursday morning graced the graduation of the fourth cohort of Multi Choice Group Talent Factory Nairobi, that seeks to sharpen the wits and execution of local film makers towards being global story tellers.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, CS Namwamba encouraged the graduates to use their creativity to impact the society in a positive way, adding that they should be fearless in in expanding their creativity boundaries. "Go Ye! and create content that transcends boundaries and impacts people on a profound level. Embrace diversity, explore different perspectives and be fearless in pushing the boundaries of creativity." Hon Namwamba said.

MultiChoice East Africa is proud to celebrate the Class of 2023, after a gruelling 12-months of honing and sharpening their various skills within film and TV. This particular graduation is a landmark moment for MultiChoice Africa’s shared-value initiative, MTF, as its inaugural year proved to be a success with the 20 students accepting their MTF certificates of completion in front of government officials, their family, friends and creative industry peers. 
The achievements of the Multi Choice Talent Factory East Africa Academy, one-of-a-kind programme molds budding TV and film talent across Africa, providing a platform for innovation and growth. Through partnerships with local institutions, the program fosters a community of skilled storytellers ready to make their mark.

The graduate's journey through MTF marks the beginning of a transformative career in the world of film and television production and as well towards a prosperous future of storytelling brilliance. This year's cohort comprised 20 students from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia.
