CROOKED WILLIAM RUTO IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ILLEGAL ABDUCTIONS.
Jimmy Wanjigi stood in solidarity and empathy, with the all the families, sons and daughters who have been abducted and disappeared. He expressed his empathy in this harsh reality facing Kenya now.
“Your pain is my pain. I am sounding the alarm: We are on the edge of an abyss and moving speedily in the wrong direction. We must all wake up and collectively demand for truth, accountability and justice” He said.
The terrifying illegal abductions, enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Kenya remain is a state strategy to spread terror amongst Kenyans. The feeling of insecurity and fear it generates is not limited to the close relatives of the abducted or disappeared only. It is affecting all communities and Kenya society as a whole.
Illegal abductions and enforced disappearance violates the right to life, liberty, protection before the law and protection from other cruel, inhumane treatment and punishment.
Abductions victimizes the families, relatives and friends of the victims/survivors. Abductions are a gross violation of the International law including the Rome Statute. They are crime against humanity. Family and friends of people who have been abducted or disappeared experience slow mental anguish. Not knowing whether their son or daughter, mother or father is still alive. Not knowing where he or she is being held, or how they are being treated. Searching for the truth put the whole family in great danger.
No order or instruction of any public authority, civilian, military or other, may be invoked to justify any form of abduction or enforced disappearance. Any person receiving such an order or instruction shall have the right and duty not to obey it.
Article 26 of the Constiution of Kenya guarantees every Kenyan the right to life, and specifically states, “A person shall not be deprived of life intentionally”. Articles 28 and 29 of the Constiution provides the human dignity, freedom and security of the person which includes the right not to be subjected to torture, or treated or punished in a cruel, inhumane and degrading manner.
The Inspector General of the National Police Service under Article 245 of the
Constiution exercise independent Command of the Police. The IG is constitutionally required to ensure police operate with highest standards of
Professionalism and comply with constitutional standards of human rights and fundamental freedoms while performing their work.
In exercising the command of the police, the IG has the constitutional responsibility to ensure that the officers commit to protect the right life of all Kenyans by adhering to the Constiution and laws of this country.
President William Ruto took oath of office and swear that he will truly and diligently serve the people and the Republic. He will diligently discharge
Duties and perform functions in the Office of President while doing justice to all in accordance with the Constitution, and the laws of Kenya, without fear, favour, affection or ill-will.
“President Ruto took oath and swear to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Republic of Kenya and will obey, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of Kenya, and he will protect and uphold the sovereignty, integrity and dignity of the people of Kenya.
Regrettably, today it can be confirmed that President Ruto has not only violated the Constiution of Kenya but also contravened the oath of office he took. He has become Constiution delinquent”.Jimmy stated
He statedthat President Ruto is solely responsible for the abductions, enforced disappearances and murdering of the young people of this country-The Gen Z. That he has turned police into his political militia. He also reminded Kenyans to not forget Ruto was a suspect at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
“President Ruto is hypocritically mocking, laughing and demeaning the abducted, disappeared and murdered sons and daughters of this country and
Their loved who are painfully crying daily. The only crime they have committed is exercising their constitutional and democratic right peacefully and unarmed
We must never yield to Ruto tyranny.
President Ruto’s cruelty, brutality and dictatorship can only be compared to that of Adolf Hitler, Slobodan Milosevic, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Omar Al Bashir among other such sadistic despots”, He explained
He finished by saying “ forgetting you is rejecting our own identity; forgetting is to renounce the meaning our life has; forgetting is to make our beloved ones get abducted or disappear again. We will keep the memory of our abducted, disappeared or murdered alive forever. Forgetting them is allowing the perpetrator Ruto to achieve his goal in erasing our loved ones from this earth. By continuing demanding justice, we relive their memory. The abducted, disappeared or murdered shall live forever”, He assured the victims.
